The Story Behind ELQD ECIGS
Our mission
At ELQD ECIGS, we help adult smokers and vapers find the right alternative to tobacco cigarettes. We stock vape kits, e-liquids, prefilled vapes and nicotine pouches, and back them up with friendly, knowledgeable advice in our shops and online.
Where our name comes from
It’s a simple story. The liquid used in vaping is known as e-liquid, so we shortened it to ELQD. The kits you put e-liquid in are known as e-cigarettes, so we shortened that to ECIGS. Put the two together and you get ELQD ECIGS. Clever, aren’t we?
Where it all started
We opened our first shop in August 2013 on Molesworth Street, Cookstown, and it’s still our flagship shop today. That makes us one of the longest-running vape shops in Northern Ireland. We opened it to bring quality e-cigarettes and e-liquids to adult smokers in Mid-Ulster and beyond, backed by a team who know the products inside out.
Our Magherafelt shop followed in May 2014. It did so well that a year later we moved to bigger premises, and since September 2015 we’ve been at 59 Rainey Street, serving Magherafelt and the surrounding area.
Our most recent shop, at 49 Irish Street in Dungannon, has been open since February 2018, bringing our range and advice to Dungannon and the surrounding area.
As well as our three shops, our online shop delivers across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Quality first
We keep growing because we focus on the quality of everything we sell. Every kit, e-liquid, tank and coil is tested by our team before it reaches our shelves or our website. We don’t sell hardware or e-liquid we’re not happy with. The black and gold in our logo stands for the quality we aim for in everything we do.
What we stock
Our hardware comes from well-known manufacturers including Vaporesso, OXVA, Aspire and Voopoo.
We have over 100 nicotine salt flavours, from brands including Bar Juice 5000, ELUX Legend Salts and our own ELQD ECIGS 10ml nic salts.
Our own freebase e-liquid comes in over 20 flavours, in 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. Smooth Tobacco, Ice Mint and Fruit Mix are among the most popular e-liquids we sell, in our shops and online.
We also stock a wide range of prefilled vapes from Lost Mary and Dojo, and nicotine pouches from Pablo, Killa and Velo.
