We at ELQD ECIGS have recently added the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 to our lineup of kits, and we thought we’d take this chance to highlight the latest addition!

What follows is a review from Adam at ELQD ECIGS and the opinions expressed are my own.

First Look

At first look the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 is certainly a looker, I grabbed the black one and it’s a stunner. Carbon fiber, finished neatly with gold trim. The screen is slightly raised off the face of the device, embossed with that gold trim that is found all over the device which does well in highlighting the premium feel that surrounds XLIM Pro 2.

When you power it on, the display comes to life with vibrant colors and crisp text, showcasing vital information such as battery life, wattage, and resistance. The user interface is intuitive and streamlined, making it accessible even for beginners while offering the depth that seasoned vapers will appreciate. Ergonomically, the button is well-placed and responsive, adding to the overall user experience.

Overall, the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 combines stunning aesthetics with thoughtful design features, making it a compelling choice for anyone looking for a sophisticated and user-friendly vaping device. The blend of carbon fiber and gold trim makes it a standout in any collection, and the added details, like the slightly raised screen and ergonomically placed button, highlight the meticulous craftsmanship that has gone into creating this premium device.

Design & Build Quality

As mentioned above the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 just oozes premium. From how well the gold and carbon fibre contrast to how snugly the pods fit in their place thanks to the magnetic connection. The screen also bursts with colour when activated, with clear cut, well displayed information in an easy to read format. It also features a few different display modes for when the device is in use, 3 in total. One of which displays a tornado effect, one of which shows a fireworks effect, and the final one which allows the light below the screen to glow in a rainbow sequence, all 3 are shown in the images below.

How to use the OXVA XLIM Pro 2

• Remove the device from it’s packaging and remove all plastic from the device, being sure to remove the pod & take the sticker off it’s base.
• Open the seal on the side of the pod & fill the pod with your E-Liquid of chosing
• Allow the pod to soak for at least 15 minutes
• Turn the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 on by pushing the button located on the side of the device 5 times.
• Set the wattage to what you desire by pushing the button 3 times, then pushing the button to round-robin through the available wattage range until you reach your sweet spot!
• Set the airflow to the desired amount using the slider on the side of the kit.
• Simply take a draw to activate the device and enjoy!

Performance

Now it’s time to get into the nitty gritty of the OXVA XLIM Pro 2, how does the kit actually perform?

The OXVA XLIM Pro 2 comes with 2 pods in the box, the 0.6Ω and the 0.8Ω pods. The first one that I tried was the 0.6Ω mesh pod. I paired this with Bar Juice Strawberry Ice 10mg. This left the automatically selected wattage at 25W which provided a nice warm draw which did wonders in helping the vibrancy of the strawberry notes of the E-Liquid come through and provided an extremely flavourful RDTL draw throughout. This is all while still allowing that nice little hit of ice to come through on the exhale.

Next up was the 0.8Ω mesh pod. This one I paired with ELUX’s Strawberry Watermelon Bubblegum 10mg. The kit set itself at 16W which provided a relatively cool MTL draw, which did wonders for highlighting the refreshing notes of the watermelon, while still allowing the sweet notes of the strawberry & bubblegum to shine!

Battery life wise, the 1300mAh internal battery proved plentiful, even when using the stronger 0.6Ω pod and it easily got me through an entire day of vaping at 25W. Charged in in the morning, took it off the charger and by the time I got home I still had 48% left. Charging wise, the USB Type-C 2A charging makes the charging time from 0 to 100% around 40 minutes, which is nothing conisdered that it’s an all day charge!

Conclusion & Final Thoughts

The OXVA XLIM Pro 2 is another stellar offering from OXVA, who are really hitting nothing but positives when it comes ot each of the kits they’ve been putting out recently and the XLIM Pro 2 stands right at the top of that pile!

I highly recommend that you pick up an OXVA XLIM Pro 2, whether you’re a new vaper looking for a kit that is sure to not let you down, or an old hand looking for a new pod kit morsel, grab yourself one at the link here!
