What we aim to do in this article is, as well as give you all the technical pros and cons of each option, we’ll explain what the specs mean for you as the end user!
For the case in point, the two kits that we’ll be using for the comparison of XROS vs XLIM, are the most up to date of each of the brands that we stock in store. The Vaporesso XROS 4 vs the OXVA XLIM SE 2!
The opinions in this article are those of us here at ELQD ECIGS, and do not necessarily represent the opinions of others.
XROS vs XLIM, Kit Number 1: The Vaporesso XROS 4
The Vaporesso XROS 4 is Vaporesso’s latest upgrade to their outstanding XROS family of devices building on their fantastic reputation by adding a number of additional features to improve your experience as the end user, trying to get the edge in the case of XROS vs XLIM!
Specs and Features:

- Fully Adjustable Airflow
- AXON Chipset inside for enhanced flavour and vapour production

- 3 Stage Power Adjustment System
The Vaporesso XROS 4’s outstanding AXON chip is a testament to the years of vaping experience behind the Vaporesso Brand. Originally used in the likes of their market leading DTL kits such as the Vaporesso GEN S, what this allows for is the utilisation of Pulse Mode in each Vaporesso Device fitted with one of these chips!
Pulse mode is a special mode unique to Vaporesso kits which pulses the wattage of the device in 0.2 second intervals. Allowing for that outstanding first draw flavour the whole way through your vape!
The other piece of technical jargon we used there was COREX 2.0. This is Vaporesso’s latest innovation in the world of mesh coil technology! This takes the fantastic mesh technology from the first iteration of COREX, and further reinvents it to increase flavour and vapour production by at least 30%. They’ve also upgraded the cotton that they use in the coil to increase just how long your coil lasts.

As you can see there’s not a major winner between the two in terms of specifications when comparing them for the debate of XROS vs XLIM, they’ve both got some serious power packed into what are tiny little kits, so we’ll highlight each of their differences and explain them quickly in the following section.
The first difference that you’d notice is the fact that the Vaporesso XROS 4 has a larger range of different resistance pods available, this means that it may suit a greater range of preferences than the OXVA XLIM SE 2 with how differently each of the pods perform.
When it comes to the case of XROS vs XLIM another important feature is the charging speed of each of the devices, and this one is another win for the Vaporesso XROS 4. With its lightning fast 2A Type-C charging you can get from 0 to 100% battery in as short as 25 minutes! Of course the OXVA XLIM SE 2 is not far behind that at around 40 minutes to a full charge, but when life is as busy as we know it can be for everyone, why waste that extra 15 minutes?
A category where the OXVA XLIM SE 2 takes the win in this matchup of XROS vs XLIM is its power adjustment range, with a 5 step power adjustment option compared to the XROS 4’s 3 step power adjustment option, this works well to counteract the XROS 4’s larger range of available pods by adding that much needed customisation option for your vaping style!
XROS vs XLIM Conclusion
So in our comparison, we’ve looked at the specs and features of each of the two kits in order to answer the question of which is better? The XROS vs XLIM debate is one that’s been on a rise since the recent surge in popularity of pod style vape kits.
