Here at ELQD ECIGS we’re lovers of all things Vaporesso, and the Luxe series is no exception to that rule! From the days of the Luxe PM40 Vaporesso have been making leaps and bounds in the world of MTL/RDTL pod kits. We’re here today to talk about the latest addtion to that lineup which is the brand new Vaporesso Luxe X2!
This is an update to the fantastic Luxe X which received an outstanding review from us waaay back in March of 2023. So we’re hoping that it’ll live up to and supersede the reputation which it’s predecessor left!
What follows is a review from Adam at ELQD ECIGS, and are my opinions after using the kit since release, they may not represent the opinions of others.

First Look
At first glance, the Vaporesso Luxe X2 just looks like the Luxe X had a revelation and decided to go even more rugged than it’s original sleek, modern look. This is in no way a complaint because it still looks modern, just more ready for anything than before. It’s still majoritively made out of PCTG plastic which is by design, very resilient. Instead of the sole metal band found around the top of the original Luxe X, the Vaporesso Luxe X2 has added a metal face plate which includes the LED Display which is then surrounded by a faux leather panel.
Design & Build Quality
As we’ve said in all of our Vaporesso Kit Reviews, Vaporesso are no slouches when it comes to the quality of anything that leaves the Vaporesso factory. This proves true yet again with the Vaporesso Luxe X2, the button clicks feel crisp, the adjustable airflow slider on the side of the device has a smooth action with a satisfying resistance to it to allow for precision and once again the pods fit snugly into their place on the top of the device with a thoroughly rewarding click.
How to use the Vaporesso Luxe X2
- Remove the device from the packaging
- Remove the pod from the device and remove the sticker from it’s base
- Open the seal on the base of the pod and fill the pod with your E-Liquid of choice
- Put the pod back in it’s place on the device
- Wait 15 minutes to allow the coil to soak
- After 15 minutes has passed, click the button 5 times to turn the Vaporesso Luxe X2 on
- Adjust the airflow using the slider on the side of the device
- Push the button while taking a draw, and enjoy!
Performance
Now to get into the nitty grity of the Vaporesso Luxe X2, how does it actually perform?
The Vaporesso Luxe X2 comes with 2 pods in the box, a 0.6Ω mesh and a 0.8Ω mesh, it’s also compatible with the 0.4Ω mesh and the 0.3Ω mesh pods from the Vaporesso Luxe Mesh Pod range. So the Luxe X2 can cover all your basis!
This is possibly my favourite feature about the Luxe X range of pods, as well as adjustable airflow on the devices, all the pods have an additional set of airflow holes on the base which allows for further customation of airflow. This allows for adjustment of the devices airflow by simply turning the pod around to face the other way.
I started off with the 0.6Ω mesh pod which comes preinstalled in the device, paired with Bar Juice 5000’s Strawberry Kiwi 10mg, this left the power at around 24W. This provided a beautiful RDTL draw with a nice level of warmth, which really highlighted the vibrance of the strawberry flavour, but without overpowering the refreshing kiwi notes on the exhale. Definitely one for the nic salts as the flavour provided by the pod is further emphasised by the smoothness of nicotine salt E-Liquid.
Next up was that 0.8Ω mesh pod, this one I paired with Bar Juice 5000’s Strawberry Cherry Raspberry. This one was at first a lot more mellow than the 0.6Ω, with a more MTL profile to the draw. The flavours were still heavily present with the strawberry taking the forefront again, the sweet notes neatly highlighted by the cherry and finished off delightfully with the tart raspberry on the exhale. Once again this has a very similar draw to the Vaporesso XROS Mesh 0.8Ω which is outstanding.
Finally what I’ve been using recently in the Vaporesso Luxe X2 is the 0.4Ω pod, this one I paired with the Pineapple Peach from the Six Licks Tongue Twisters range. This one provides a nice cool DTL draw which really highlighted the citrus notes from this E-Liquid which was then neatly finished off by a peachy sweetness. Definitely no slacking in the Luxe X2 even when pushed up to DTL levels.
Conclusion & Final Thoughts
Once again Vaporesso have knocked it out of the park for an all rounder kit. The Luxe X2 takes everything we loved about the Luxe X and adds more into the package, with an extra 500mAh battery life there’s more than ever to love about the Vaporesso Luxe X2.
We’d highly recommend that any vaper, old or new add the Vaporesso Luxe X2 to their kit collection. Whether it’s for your first kit, or one for out and about. We’re offering the Vaporesso Luxe X2 Super Bundle which includes the kit, two packs of pods and 3 10ml bottles of E-Liquid all for just £46!
