It’s a well known secret in the vaping industry that the longer you soak your cotton the more liquid the cotton will absorb and therefore the flavour provided from a well soaked cotton will be much more flavoursome than a cotton which has had minimal soaking time. The design process of disposable vapes is timed so that the cotton in the coils inside of the disposable vapes are soaked for a long period of time, which could be anything from weeks to months before they reach their end user. This means the likelihood that all of the cotton inside the disposable is saturated is extremely high, meaning that the draw which the device provides will be filled with flavour.

Part of the explanation of the answer to the question “why do disposables taste better” is the fact that they’re designed to be single use, and the coil is not designed for longevity but rather to produce as much flavour as is possible for the short time in which the device is in use. This means that their flavours may be much more intense, but that also means that the burnt taste which the coil provides will be much more unpleasant.
The additional fact that there is nothing which can be changed when using a disposable, also can be used to explain why disposables are sometimes perceived to have a stronger flavour than reusable kits. The lack of factors which can affect the flavour of the draw such as variable wattage and airflow means that the draw will always provide the same flavour.
